My name is Lisa Hamada and I’m a reality-based licensed therapist with over 20 years of experience specializing in mental health counseling for children, adults, couples and families, in both individual and group settings. As of recently, the focus of my practice has been helping couples and families learn the strategies necessary for healthy communication and positive growth.

Utilizing Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance Commitment Therapy (ACT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) techniques, I help clients become more self-aware and learn how to better manage their emotions and their relationships. In assisting clients to recognize their struggles and take ownership of what needs to change, I empower them to set goals that will positively change their lives and the lives of those around them.
