Groups
Since opening my practice in the Northport area in 2019, these are examples of groups I’ve led for parents, teens and children on a wide variety of topics. Groups can be tailored to specific needs. If you’re interested, please submit an inquiry.
Mastering Middle School Tween Support Group
Let me help to support your child with the anxieties associated with growing up and provide them with the skills they need to feel more confident in their own skin (in a fun and interactive group setting). Topics include: time management, navigating friendships and making new friends, teamwork, problem solving, self-advocacy, emotional regulation, coping skills just to name a few.
Emotional Success Series: Parent Support Group
Parent-to-parent peer support group that will help you identify and understand your child’s social and emotional needs in a confidential environment. Parents share stories and learn skills to become more empowered, and amass a strategic toolkit to help your child to be a successful lifelong learner.
Social Emotional Learning Group
Is your child struggling to make friends? Or has friends but doesn’t feel like they “fit in”? Does your child have anxiety? Sleepless nights? Stomachaches? Would your child benefit from learning to self-advocate while building their confidence? These groups can be tailored to their specific needs. Do they have an ASD or ADHD diagnosis or characteristics? All students welcome!
